What’s
New In LeaveRegister ASSIST Version 4.5.0?
- Ability
to replace hardcoded field names with custom
names.
Standard field names such as "Destination", "Phone" and "Vehical" can
now be customised to user defined names. Option is configurable in LeaveRegisters
ASSIST's Admin area.
- Addition
of "type" field to allow extra clasification
of students (i.e Weekly / daily boarder etc).
Students can now be clasified and grouped by their type which can be set
to Weekly or Daily boarder in the Student Details screen.
- Addition
of pre-approved leave option so that pre-approved
leave destinations may be loaded against each
student (max of 5 per student allowed).
Destinations that have already been pre-approved by parents or legal guardians
can now be pre-loaded and can appear as a tool tip in the Authorisation Screen
when authorising leave for students. This option is configurable in LeaveRegisters
Admin area.
- Addition
of a full web interface. This allows students
to load leave requests via a web browser over
the internet (leave can not be returned from
via this method).
If your school runs it's own website, or hosts on an external IIS server
LeaveRegister can now run via this website. This option allows students to
pre-load leave requests without needing to access a dedicated LeaveRegister
ASSIST workstation. When returning from leave it must be done at a dedicated
terminal.
- Addition
of Special Meal requests report, accessible
via meal anaysis screen.
In addition to the standard meal analysis report it is now possible to print
out special meals itemised by student. This option can be accessed via the
drop-down menu File > Print Special Meals... inside the existing Meal
Analysis report screen.
- Extra internal error checking added
/ support for American Dates and Time formats.
Many internal areas inside LeaveRegister have been updated to support both
dd/mm/yyyy formats and mm/dd/yyyy formats. Additional error checking has
also been added to enhance the performance of the application.
- Updated
help file
The help file for LeaveRegister ASSIST has been updated to include material
on some of the features listed above.
